Dirk Vennix joined the ABB in April 2011 from the Tobacco Manufacturers Alliance (TMA) where has was Director of Communications for 3 years. Dirk was previously Director of Campaign Operations at Enterprise Insight, and worked for Centrica for almost a decade.

Graham McLennan
Company Secretary
A chartered management accountant with 20 years’ experience in the gaming industry, Graham hails from Scotland. Married with two young boys and now living in Hertfordshire, Graham is a keen golfer and an ardent follower of Alloa Athletic.

John Johnson
Deputy Company Secretary
Having worked for small independents and a major bookmaker since November 1963, John joined ABB (then BOLA) in 1992. His duties range from accounts and administration to investigation of unusual betting patterns, and other security matters. He has three daughters, but recently suffered the loss of his dear wife.

James Barrow
Public Affairs Manager
James joined the ABB from Parliament and has experience in political campaigning as well as setting up and running a small business. James represented Wales and Great Britain at swimming and is a Manchester United fan.

Peter Craske
PR Manager
Peter has a wide range of experience in media relations, communications and political campaigning, both in the UK and the European Union. He led the RSPCA's campaign to ban the import of wild-caught birds into the EU, and has managed media coverage for major events, including Royal visits and political party conferences.
Peter runs regularly, taking part in 5k and 10k races, and is a keen follower of Formula One.

Cath White
Office Manager
During 19 years as an Accounts Administrator and PA at the Horserace Betting Levy Board, Cath got to know most of the movers and shakers in the UK racing and betting scene. Cath joined the ABB as Office Manager in August 2007, and hers is likely to be the first voice you will hear on dialling our switchboard. Cath is a DIY enthusiast and a connoisseur of real ale.
